Chelsea are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Tosin Adarabioyo over a free transfer from Fulham. The 26-year-old defender is expected to be the first signing for the Blues under Enzo Maresca, Pochettino's reported successor.
Newcastle, who had been working on bringing Adarabioyo to St. James' Park, will be disappointed by Chelsea's nearing deal. Fulham was aware of losing him this summer.
Adarabioyo joined Fulham in 2020 from Man City's academy, making 132 appearances, crucial in maintaining Fulham's Premier League status over the years.
