Brazilian youth international Pedro Lima is almost done with his move to Chelsea, as confirmed by journalist Alessandro Matias, who spoke to Lima about the progress of his potential transfer while he waited out of the squad for Sport Recife on Sunday.
The reported transfer fee between Chelsea and Sport Recife is 6.3m with additional 2.5m in potential add-ons. Lima has agreed to a four-year deal at Chelsea worth up to 8.5m, translating to close to 41,000 a week.
Sport Recife's manager, Raphael Campos, explained Lima's absence in the Sunday match by stating that they didn't feel comfortable fielding the player during ongoing negotiations, indicating their confidence in the potential move to Chelsea.
