Silva, who has been a fine servant for Chelsea, won the Champions League with them in the 2020/21 season. He plans to return to Chelsea in a non-playing role in the future.
Silva rejected an important offer from abroad in January to stay with Chelsea until the end of his contract. His family also enjoys being in London.
