Tesla is sued for allegedly violating the Clean Air Act by emitting harmful pollution from its Fremont factory since January 2021, as claimed by the Environmental Democracy Project.
In addition to the lawsuit, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued Tesla 112 notices of violation since 2019, citing concerns about harmful emissions impacting public health and the environment.
