An MP urged Geely, the owner of Lotus Cars, to clarify its plans for the Hethel factory as rumors of potential closure emerge. During meetings with Geely representatives, MP Ben Goldsborough highlighted the necessity for transparency regarding future operations and long-term site sustainability. Secretary of State for Business and Trade also expressed reassurance regarding the plant's status, yet uncertainties about operational capacity remain.
