Global registrations of plug-in electric cars increased by 19% year-over-year in March 2024, with over 1.3 million new passenger plug-in electric cars registered, marking the third-highest monthly result.
All-electric car registrations accounted for 65% of all plug-in car registrations, with about 855,000 new registrations, while plug-in hybrid car registrations were estimated at roughly 460,000 in March.
