Customers who purchased the Fisker Ocean for up to $70,000 report being left with undriveable vehicles, describing them as "lawn ornaments" due to recalls.
Fisker will address three recalls via software updates but requires owners to cover repairs for two recalls related to door handles and water pump failures.
The company warned owners to drive their Ocean EVs "with caution" and promised a list of authorized service providers for repairs by September 2024.
