Ontario and Ottawa have reached a deal under the national housing strategy unlocking $357 million in federal funding for the province after disagreements over affordable housing targets and funding distribution.
The federal government had planned to bypass Ontario and give the funds directly to municipalities due to disagreements over affordable housing targets and action plans.
