Artists Christi Belcourt, Joe Average and bill bissett receive one of Canada's highest honours

Joe Average, Vancouver-based artist and AIDS activist, received recognition for his art and humanitarianism, commemorated on 'Joe Average Day' for his efforts in fighting homophobia and supporting AIDS charities.
