A Mega Millions ticket sold in California won $242,155 and narrowly missed the $453 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $489 million, with a cash option of approximately $226 million, for the next drawing Tuesday, May 28.
