The 41-acre Greenville Fire in Livermore was 60% contained by Saturday afternoon with no forward progress, near the recently contained 14,168-acre Corral Fire site.
Both fires near Altamont Pass are common due to high winds; Cal Fire is investigating the cause as they work on containment efforts.
