Dollar Tree announced it has acquired rights to 170 leases for former 99 Cents Only stores in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen them under a new name.
The move will 'provide access to high-quality real estate assets in premium retail centers,' enabling Dollar Tree to expand its brand across the western United States.
99 Cents Only Stores closed all locations in the US in April due to Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with liquidation and sale managed by Hilco Global and Hilco Real Estate.
