California reaches EV charging infrastructure milestone

California now has 105,000 public or shared private EV chargers, exceeding the number of gas stations, with one charger for every five gas stations.
California leads in EV infrastructure and BEV adoption, ranking fourth globally in EV sales. One-third of all U.S. BEV sales occur in California.
The state of California has a total of 1.8 million zero-emission vehicle sales to date and approved a $1.9 billion plan for 40,000 new public EV chargers.
