Boyfriend stabs mom to death in front of her children, California officials say

Ramon Joseph Rivas, 34, has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Jessica Marie Tinoco, in front of her children, according to Ventura County officials.
When officers arrived, they discovered Tinoco, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. She was later transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Family friends described Tinoco as having a 'generous heart' and being the 'strongest woman' known for making everything she did centered around her children.
Rivas faces serious charges including murder and child endangerment, and he is currently being held without bail.
