Two weeks before 19 October 1987, I warned publicly that in two weeks, the stock market will lose 20% of its value, a prediction I had been making for three years. Everyone who makes economic predictions will one day be proven correct if they stick to their guns.
The American economy is not facing an imminent recession despite recent market crashes and global tensions. The Federal Reserve should consider cutting interest rates to stabilize the economy, although an emergency rate cut right now could cause panic.
