Teal ribbons tie together community effort for ovarian cancer awareness in Park Slope * Brooklyn Paper
Briefly

"This is one of the ways that we engage with the public to spread awareness and have everyone just stop for a moment and tell every amazing lady about ovarian cancer," Esposito-Amery told Brooklyn Paper.
"We're looking to raise $250,000. It is so important to save our programs and to keep them running," said Esposito-Amery. Her organization is the only community center of its kind in the United States with a mission to educate about ovarian cancer.
