This annual festival invites the community to gather for a day of inner-child play, cultural celebration and artistic expressions that foster nurturing connections with oneself and others. The Pan-Afro Wisdom (P.O.W.) Fest amplifies black queer perspectives, aiming to unite the diaspora and beyond through thoughtfully curated spaces.
P.O.W. Fest will feature a diverse and vibrant lineup of programs, music and workshops designed to celebrate Afro-diasporic cultures and foster community engagement. Programs and workshops include a Capoeira workshop showcasing the Brazilian martial art that combines dance, acrobatics and music; a laughter meditation workshop which aims to promote inner peace.
