Brooklyn detectives are looking for the suspect who shot a man in the face early on Saturday morning.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police determined that the man had been attacked by an unidentified suspect known to him.
The motive for the shooting, however, remains unknown at this time.
Through April 7, the 81st Precinct had reported just two shootings year-to-date, down from the five tallied at the same point in 2023, according to the most recent CompStat report.
