A 77-year-old man died last week after he was struck by his own car during a reported parking dispute in Sheepshead Bay.
According to the New York Post, Lontsman was exiting the car to confront the driver of the Nissan about a parking space.
Paramedics hurried Lontsman to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn with severe injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
So far this year, six traffic fatalities have been reported in the 61st Precinct, where Lontsman lost his life, per the latest NYPD data, a 200% increase from the same time period last year.
