The children, a 13-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy, were struck by the driver of a Nissan minivan shortly after 8 a.m. near the intersection of 62nd Street and 16th Avenue, Police Department sources said.
Responding paramedics brought the two children to Maimonides Medical Center, where their conditions have been listed as stable.
