Signs of spring are in the air. The days of freezing temps are (mostly) gone, we've said goodbye to 4 p.m. sunsets, and Sullivan's Castle Island is serving hot dogs and fries for its 73rd season.
Opening day wasn't the ideal example of a spring day, with people braving a dreary, 40-degree day in puffer coats, according to reports. But the concession stand's assistant general manager told The Boston Globe it was their best opening day in quite some time.
