Celtics vs. Mavericks Game 2 live updates: Can Boston go up 2-0?
Briefly

Boston is expecting a stronger response from the Mavericks after Kristaps Porzingis and the Celtics' dominated down both ends of the court in a convincing 107-89 victory in Game 1 on Thursday night.
Even though the Celtics limited some of the hallmarks of Dallas' offense in terms of 3-point shooting and lobs on Thursday, the Mavericks have the firepower in place with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to shred even the strongest defenses.
Apparently unfazed by Jason Kidd saying that Jaylen Brown is the best player on Boston's roster, Jayson Tatum will look to bounce back from a 16-point showing in Game 1.
Despite being listed as questionable for Game 2 due to a thoracic contusion, Luka Doncic will indeed play tonight. Jason Kidd noted ahead of the game that Doncic, who is also dealing with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness, suffered the contusion in Game 1.
