Boston Bruins dealt Linus Ullmark to Ottawa Senators for forward Mark Kastelic, goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, and 25th overall pick. Ullmark spent three seasons with Bruins after a four-year deal in July 2021.

Boston now possesses a first-round selection for the NHL draft, representing their first opening-round pick since 2021. Additionally extended Brandon Bussi's contract for one year, confirming him as a part of the goalie group.
