MBTA's South Coast Rail Project faces its third delay, now aimed to commence in May 2025. The initiative extends commuter rail services to New Bedford, Fall River, and Taunton.
Phillip Eng, MBTA General Manager, emphasized a commitment to quality and safety before launching South Coast Rail passenger service. Stations will be priced in Zone 8 for commuters.
