As a Boston movie, it's four stars. Sadly, as a regular movie movie, it's a lowly one and a half.
Every one of these heavy hitters is helpless when it comes to making the screenplay by Affleck and Chuck MacLean feel like more than a doodle on a pitch meeting notepad.
