One arrested, police looking for second suspect in Randolph armed robbery

Officers responded to the area of Johnson Drive for a report of an armed robbery at about 1:20 p.m. Monday, according to the statement. Two suspects allegedly robbed a person in a vehicle, officials said.
An 18-year-old Malden man was taken into custody after a foot pursuit by officers, the statement said. He allegedly stole jewelry and a cell phone from the victim.
The second suspect fled on foot to the area of the town dump, which is next to Route 24. The State Police Air Wing is assisting Randolph Police with the search.
