Alfred F. Ferrioli, 47, of Salem, collided with a pickup truck when attempting to merge back into his lane, losing control of his motorcycle and subsequently crashing and succumbing to his injuries.
The impact threw Ferrioli off his motorcycle, which led to his death after being rushed to a local hospital; the pickup truck driver and passenger were unharmed.
