Ireland weather: Mix of cloud and sunshine today before rain warnings come into effect

This morning will start with isolated showers, mainly in the north and west, that will become more frequent later in the afternoon, with highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
A Status Yellow rain warning for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry and Waterford will come into effect from 12am on Sunday and remain in place until 12am on Monday.
Tomorrow will be "dull and wet" overall with widespread rain across the country, heaviest in the south and southeast. There will also be fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds.
Rain will begin to clear from the southeast overnight on Sunday and it will become dry across most of the country. Looking ahead to next week, Monday will be mostly cloudy with some rain and showers.
