The list features 2,781 billionaires with an aggregate $14.2 trillion in wealth, 141 more billionaires and $2 trillion more than last year, according to Forbes.
Two-thirds of the billionaires on the 2024 list are worth more than they were a year ago; only one-fourth are poorer.
Abigail Johnson, Edward Johnson IV, and Robert Kraft are among the Massachusetts moguls who made the Forbes list, with significant increases in their wealth from the previous year.
