Ethiopia's Sisay Lemma Wins Boston Marathon in Runaway
Briefly

Sisay Lemma of Ethiopia set a blistering pace to win the Boston Marathon. He separated himself from the pack and ran the first half 99 seconds faster than Geoffrey Mutai's course record pace.
Hellen Obiri defended her title by outrunning Sharon Lokedi on Boylston Street, becoming the first woman to win back-to-back Boston Marathons since 2005.
On a day with temperatures rising into the mid-60s, Obiri broke away from a large 15-runner pack through Brookline. Marcel Hug set a course record in the men's wheelchair race.
