The new season of Bridgerton maintains its glossy and smooth aesthetic with multiracial casting practices but lacks diversity in character backgrounds.
After the fourth installment, I find myself thirsting for a different setting and different stakes. Just as there are no seasons besides spring in the Bridgerton-verse, there are no real poor, working-class, or middle-class characters in this show.
