Officials say additional actions are expected as part of a broader effort to target a militant group that the U.S. designated as a foreign terrorist organization in 1997.
Attorney General Merrick Garland stated that 'The charges unsealed today are just one part of our effort to target every aspect of Hamas' operations. These actions will not be our last.'
