They replaced the formerly 350W mid-drive motor with a 750W hub motor, boosting torque from 90Nm to 116Nm. The battery capacity increased from 557Wh to 720Wh, offering up to 50 mi. range; extendable to 100 mi. with a second battery.
The new MOD Black 3 is a Class 2 e-bike with 20 mph maximum-assist speed, upgradable to Class 3. Suspension fork has 20mm extra travel for better bump absorption. Drivetrain's chainring increased from 42 to 48 teeth for improved cruising speed.
