When law enforcement is involved, there's always the risk of excessive force, there's also the risk of injury... The best course is for the university to use the tools of dialogue and negotiation to find a resolution that does not require law enforcement.
When any government agency uses force and arrests, in order to deal with protesters, those are situations we monitor very closely, and examine the facts...to ensure that all of the protester's rights... are adhered to.
