Usually, catastrophic frame failures like this are no fault of the rider and it's some kind of manufacturing defect. In this case, it's obviously hard to say, but the fact remains that it is not what anyone who showed up to ride that day in Lenzerheide would have expected.
The Series is foregoing Lenzerheide this year for the first time in a long time so it will be odd not to see that on either the XC or Downhill circuit.
