Wilier Slips Out Faster Supersonica SLR Time Trial Bike at Tour de Suisse with FDJ
Briefly

Developed in 9 months, the Wilier Supersonica SLR time trial bike aims to cut drag by at least 10%, featuring deeper tube sections, wide fork spacing, and customizable aero extensions.
Wilier claims the Supersonica SLR is 16% faster than the Turbine SLR, validated through wind tunnel tests at 50km/hr and real riding trials on the velodrome.
The new bike is a complete redesign from the ground up, with only the concept of extending the fork in front of the headtube remaining consistent.
With the update driven by the obsolescence of the UCI 3:1 rule and the need to stay competitive, Wilier worked closely with FDJ and their TT specialist Stefan Küng for the new model.
