Absolutely, coming from the East Coast into this dustbowl really made me push myself as a rider and learn how to ride in really different conditions... helped me to become a more well-rounded rider and stay on top of my game all year long.
The riding scene in SLC is insane, with some of the fastest guys I've ever met and constantly seeing the boys throw down on wild jumps... everyone always has your back and is hyping you up so it's easy to push yourself and get out of your comfort zone.
The snow is definitely tough to get comfortable on... once you get the hang of it and figure out how much traction you have/where to find traction in the snow, it becomes a lot more bearable.
