When you leave it anywhere, think of it as leaving a bag of cash at the side of the road.
...my bike was gone in a blink...more than likely, it was sold on within 24 hours or on a shipping container out of the country.
I would still be paying for it out of my pay via the Bike to Work scheme, while someone else would be cycling around on it, probably having paid a fraction of its original cost.
