Sustainability organisation Gallery Climate Coalition shuts down volunteer programme, citing a lack of funds
Briefly

The International Volunteer Chapter (IVC) programme, which played a crucial role in galvanizing local climate initiatives within the art sector, is set to close due to insufficient funding.
The decision to end the IVC programme was indicated in a letter by managing director Heath Lowndes, who highlighted the importance of financial investment that the GCC is currently unable to provide.
Kim Kraczon from GCC Berlin expressed sadness over the unexpected closure of the IVC, underlining that a lack of funding ultimately determined the fate of the program.
Despite the end of the IVC initiative, the Gallery Climate Coalition continues its mission from its London headquarters, remaining a key player in promoting sustainability in art.
