I paid $530 for one night in Hawaii's famous pink hotel. I was so excited, but I wouldn't stay there again.
Briefly

Upon arriving at The Royal Hawaiian, I was excited for my long-awaited stay. However, my high expectations were quickly dampened by the dated state of my room.
Despite being known as the 'Pink Palace of the Pacific', the standard room I booked was basic and outdated. It lacked the luxury feel I anticipated.
While the hotel boasts a prime location on Waikiki Beach and the iconic pink facade, the room's weariness left much to be desired compared to other luxury hotels.
My time was mostly spent enjoying the beach and cocktails, yet a sense of disappointment lingered as the hotel's Historic Wing did not meet luxury expectations.
