Kevin Dignan, a 24-year-old from Austin, Texas, tragically drowned while swimming in Pacific Beach, California, during a trip with friends.
After his friend surfaced but couldn't find him, Dignan was later discovered unresponsive on the beach, prompting immediate resuscitation efforts.
Despite the attempts of his friends and emergency responders to revive him, Dignan was pronounced dead at the scene due to an accidental drowning from a cervical spine fracture.
