The Braves are trailing the Cardinals 4-1 in the seventh inning. All four of those runs by St. Louis came in the third.
There was a heat advisory for the St. Louis area on Monday and the temperature was still in the low 90s in the seventh inning. Arcia was 0-for-2 at the plate with a strikeout.
Austin Riley hit his eighth home run of the season in the fifth to account for Atlanta's only run so far.
