Gregory Kestin stated, "We went into the study extremely curious about whether our AI tutor could be as effective as in-person instructors. And I certainly didn't expect students to find the AI-powered lesson more engaging." His initial skepticism shifted as results showed the AI tutor significantly enhanced both learning outcomes and student engagement.
Kelly Miller expressed surprise at the findings, saying, "It was shocking, and super exciting, considering that PS2 is already 'very, very well taught.' They’ve been doing this for a long time, and there have been many iterations of this system, but AI appears to take the learning experience to a new level."
