At Meta Connect, a host of new mixed reality hardware and AI updates presented by CEO Mark Zuckerberg
Briefly

Zuckerberg unveiled the new Meta Quest 3S mixed reality headset, priced starting at $299, featuring hardware upgrades and the same mixed-reality capabilities as its predecessor for $200 less.
"A lot of the magic in mixed reality is you can feel a sense of presence," Zuckerberg said. "It's different from anything any other platform has ever built and different from anything any other platform can provide."
The Quest 3S will also enable users to recreate physical spaces in a virtual environment with the new Hyperscape feature, allowing unique digital interactions.
While the lower price of Meta's headsets may increase accessibility, Forrester analyst Mike Proulx cautioned that headsets remain cumbersome, limiting prolonged use.
