The issue here is that using AI images makes all of your content feel ordinary. Good images enrich your article, bad images devalue it. Your audience thinks: "If they use AI for images, they probably use it for content, too." It raises questions about the authenticity of your content and your character in general.
In the mean time, all AI images look alike. They may seem appealing, technically, at first, but they are still recognizable as AI images. And that's then all they communicate "I.M.A.I.".
