Users can easily create a virtual Navigo pass either through the official transportation authority app or directly in Apple Wallet, enabling a convenient way for tourists to add and purchase transit passes using Apple Pay.
Using the iPhone as a transit pass involves 'tap to ride' functionality where users can double-click the side button to select the Navigo pass, or enable Express Mode for automatic selection without unlocking the phone, coupled with notifications on remaining tickets.
