In iOS 18, Apple introduces the ability to lock apps with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode for enhanced privacy. A hidden folder to conceal apps and limit contacts shared with apps is also included.
Apple's Messages app in iOS 18 will now support RCS, while an emergency satellite service has been extended to include end-to-end encrypted text messaging for emergencies.
