Israel, Haifa BRT system will be equipped with wireless charging by Electreon
Briefly

Electreon will provide a combination of its wireless dynamic charging infrastructure, installed along select segments totalling 1.6 km of the 104 km BRT route, along with its wireless stationary systems at the route's end stops. This innovative technology will also be integrated into five Golden Dragon articulated electric buses operated by Superbus, who serve the Haifa Bay area. The system enables charging while buses are in motion and at the end stops, significantly reducing the need for bus replacements.
Dan Shenbach, CEO of TransIsrael, states that 'the advanced electric road system will ensure the efficient and sustainable operation of our public transport, ultimately enhancing urban mobility and aiding environmental goals.' This project marks a pivotal move toward modernizing bus transit operations while minimizing environmental impact, showcasing how technology can intertwine with transportation for a greener future.
