East London neighbourhood yarnbombed with art inspired by Black hair
Stratford Cross is showcasing an innovative textile installation inspired by Black women's hair styling techniques.
The installation features large-scale yarn adornments created by members of the East London Black Girl Knit Club (BGKC).
The materials used for the yarn bombing were sourced locally from textile reuse hubs. [ more ]
