Review | Finally, a sweeping look at Ethiopian art
The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore is showcasing a new exhibition called "Ethiopia at the Crossroads" that highlights over nine centuries' worth of Ethiopian art and culture.
The exhibition features over 220 works from the museum's collection, including triptych icons, illuminated manuscripts, metalwork, coins, contemporary paintings, multimedia art, and even a cloak belonging to Emperor Haile Selassie. [ more ]
